We are looking for a Social Studies & Economics Teacher for an
International High School based in Shenzhen This is a full-time position
starting in August 2025.
About school
This bilingual school is a Chinese-Western integrated
international bilingual school jointly established by two century-old schools
in China and the United States. It covers three sections: international
bilingual kindergarten, nine-year bilingual primary and junior middle school,
international high school, and special high school. It fully implements
bilingual immersion teaching in both Chinese and English. We will build a
Sino-Western integrated teaching system that adapts to the dual channels of
high school entrance examination and study abroad.
Job Responsibilities
- Teach the school’s Social Studies and Economics subjects to High school
students with the provided US curriculum as a guide and framework - Develop lesson plans and instructional materials, and
provide individualized and small-group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the
needs of each student - Evaluate students’ academic and social growth, record
appropriate records, and prepare progress reports - Communicate with parents - Collaborate with school administrators and peer teachers - Participate in curriculum and professional development
sessions - Assist and coordinate activities and events inside and
outside of the school location
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above major in education or relevant - At least 2 years of teaching experience - Additional Requirements: 2 or more years of classroom
teaching experience in the US curriculum - Experience with English Language Learners preferred
Salary and benefits
- The annual salary is 42,000 to 44,000 USD and commensurate with
