We are looking for a Music Teacher a bilingual Primary School based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting August 2024. About the school Located in Qingpu, Shanghai, this bilingual school occupies an area of approximately 60 acres and provides educational services to pupils from primary, middle, and high school. Utilizing modern teaching facilities, the school creates an intelligent learning atmosphere and the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum being implemented for primary and middle years, and a diploma program for high school. Job responsibilities - Responsible for providing music classes to primary and middle school students - Design, prepare and deliver high quality lessons to suit the individual needs of all students in line with the PYP - Co-teach with teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum - Assess and monitor student progress and provide targets so that all learners can see success and improve - Collaborate with other teachers to share new ideas, approaches and professional knowledge - Contribute to extra-curricular activities program and participate in school activities such as assemblies, festivals, conferences Requirements: - Bachelor degree or above - Police Report-a criminal background check is required-authenticated - Minimum of 2 years of teaching English courses to speakers of other languages - Great presentation and English communication skills Salary and benefits - Monthly salary of 25,000 to 26,000 RMB depending on work experience and qualification - Winter holiday and summer holiday - National holidays - Health insurance - Annual bonus - Free meals during work days - Flight reimbursement
