Job details
- Teach the school’s Science subject to school secondary students aging from 11 to 18 years old - Develop, review, and update the math curriculum to align with state/national standards and school objectives. - Guide teaching strategies, integrate technology, and ensure effective pedagogy across grade levels. - Mentor math teachers, conduct evaluations, organize professional development, and manage departmental staffing. - Monitor assessment data, identify trends, and implement interventions to improve outcomes. - Work with administrators, parents, and stakeholders to address concerns and enhance program visibility. - Oversee the department budget, textbooks, and educational tools. - Stay informed on educational trends and lead initiatives like competitions or STEM projects. - Attend regular staff meetings to discuss curriculum planning, student progress, and teaching and learning needs, as well as to share improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in related subjects - Formal teaching qualification. Bachelor/Master Degree in Education, PGCE certificate are acceptable. - At least two years’ teaching experience to all age groups 11 to 18 years old - Experience of A-Level or IGCSE students will be beneficial - Excellent English communicative skills
Salary and benefits
